• Hey guys, Welcome to the Scantraxx Silver family and congrats on the first release! Can you tell us a bit about yourselves?

Hi and thank you! Very proud that we’ve joined the Silver team! We are Cyril (26) and Robin (25). We both live in the south of The Netherlands. Our journey started at the beginning of 2016 and our first release was in 2019 (End of Line Rookie EP). Before Scantraxx Silver, we’ve released music on End of Line, Derailed Traxx, Scantraxx Prospexx, and Upcoming Records.

• How did you end up together, how did you guys meet?

Funny story. We already know each other from school back in 2010-2012. Through the years we shared some tracks a few times, but actually never talked about a collaboration. At the end of 2015, we saw each other at an indoor festival and thought, why shouldn’t we meet up for a studio session? The first studio session went so well that we decided to start a new duo!

• Can you tell us a bit more about Scantraxx Silver, your journey, and how you ended up as official Silver artists?

At the beginning of our “career”, we’ve produced some pretty raw tracks. In 2020 we decided to switch from style, which is more euphoric with a few raw influences. We always thought Scantraxx Silver fits the most to our style. Besides that, we always had the feeling Scantraxx could help us a lot to develop us through the years.

• Your first release as signed Scantraxx Silver artists is out now, what was the inspiration behind the track Talk No More?

We wanted to create something different, a darker track with more storytelling. Before ‘Talk No More’ we’ve already released a track together with Miriam Romeyn (Rise Again), so we talked about a new featuring. We already made a dope melody and asked Miriam to write and sing some vocals on it, which ended really cool! In the end, we’re really happy with the result of the track. Big shout out again to Miriam for the great work.

• Can we expect more of this or different sounds from you guys?

We want to keep the euphoric and raw “sauce” in our tracks, just like we did before. For the next releases, we want to add some more storytelling to make our tracks more unique. You will hear more of that at our next release… ;)

• What are your long-term goals/dreams?

We think Scantraxx Silver is the perfect opportunity to develop ourselves. The connection with the team is already really good and they help us a lot. Our big (long-term) goals are playing at the biggest festivals and joining Scantraxx Main! Some big festivals are already confirmed, can’t wait to play at those events!

• Do you have any big plans in the near future?

Always! We received some very cool bookings, so keep an eye open on our social media channels. ;) Our next stop is Intents Festival, hope to see you there!

• Is there anything else you want to share with us now?

We want to thank everyone for the big support so far. Also big shout out to the Scantraxx team for believing in us and giving us this opportunity. For now, keep streaming our new release ‘Talk No More’ loud! We’ll do the rest in the studio! :)
