A full-circle moment for the Melodyman

Frontliner, a true icon of the Hardstyle scene, is officially back at SCANTRAXX! The mastermind behind timeless tracks like "Symbols", "Weekend Warriors", and "I’m The Melodyman" launches a new chapter with the introduction of his very own label: This Is Hardstyle.

The first release 'You Made It', will drop coming friday. And you want to hear this - click here.

The return of a pioneer

Back in 2008, a young Frontliner made his SCANTRAXX debut with "Tuuduu" and "Rock That Thing". From there, he carved a path defined by melody, emotion, and an unmistakable connection with crowds. But the story starts even earlier: in 2007, he released tracks under the alias Abject, including "End Of My Existence" and "Scantraxx Rootz", the latter becoming the unofficial anthem of SCANTRAXX!

Now, in 2025, he returns to the place where it all began, this time with creative control and a vision of his own.

“SCANTRAXX gave me my first real shot. Coming back now, with my own label, just felt right.”

This Is Hardstyle - by name and by nature

Launched as a platform to spotlight euphoric Hardstyle, This Is Hardstyle is Frontliner’s answer to a scene that, in his words, “needed more melody, more emotion, and more pure energy.” It’s not just about his own tracks, it’s a home for artists who believe Hardstyle can be both powerful and uplifting.

The label kicks off strong with its debut release, You Made It, dropping this Friday, May 16th. The track is an upbeat summer anthem that radiates optimism and carries Frontliner’s unmistakable melodic touch.

“It’s about celebrating who we are. About not caring what anyone thinks and just enjoying the music.”

What’s coming next?

Plenty. With over 100 releases to his name and six albums under his belt, Frontliner’s work ethic hasn’t slowed, and neither has his inspiration.

Expect upcoming collabs with Aftershock, Outsiders, Reinier Zonneveld, and more B-Frontliner projects. Plus, a remix of Showtek’s "Music On My Mind" and even a few surprises from his Alter Ego alias.

“2025 is going to be wild. I’ve never felt more inspired.”
