2011 Dj Mag Top 100 Announced – Thank you all for voting!
Every year, for approximately 2 months, Dj Mag opens the voting for their extremely popular Top 100 Dj list. Hundreds of thousands votes were cast; all of which have now been counted and the winners have been announced. As the voting is done entirely by the music enthusiasts from around the entire world, stretches across all genres available today and has no influence from the industry, it makes the well known list one of the most prestigious and sought after achievements throughout many DJ’s careers. Hardstyle has been making it’s presence known in recent times, and with the success of 2010/2011 bringing a surge in followers from around the world, it’s no surprise that it is once again being represented by some of the best artists out there.
You may recall that quite a few Scantraxx Recordz artists making it into the Top 100 last year, which was a huge achievement; not only for them, but also for the music scene in which they love and dedicate themselves to so much. Scantraxx Recordz is happy to say that some of their artists have made it on to that list again.
Scantraxx Recordz would like to congratulate all (harder styles) artists that are voted into this year’s top 100, especially anyone representing the harder styles. First of all, there must be a huge round of applause for Headhunterz. This artist is voted as the world’s best hard dance DJ of 2010 and being voted in at number 17 this year, was unsurprisingly able to hold on to that title due to the great support from all his fans and his commitment to his music! Continue clapping your hands for D-Block & S-te-Fan, they were named as the top hard dance duo of 2010, so it’s no surprise they were voted into the top 100 once again. D-Block & S-te-Fan, signed to Scantraxx, came in at position 40. You can check out the entire Top 100 list here:
