During the Amsterdam Dance Event on October 18th, the ultimate harder styles showcase of the year will take place at the Heineken Music Hall: HDE LIVE. Twelve of the most innovative labels will bring 40 of their pioneering artists to celebrate Holland’s leading role in the harder styles of dance music.

We’ve received a few questions about HDE LIVE via email and Social Media. It’s time for some answers!

Q: Why are all the major harder styles organizations working together on HDE LIVE?
A: Because together, we all want you to see, hear and feel the latest and greatest of the harder styles.

Q: Why does HDE LIVE take place during the Amsterdam Dance Event?
A: The Amsterdam Dance Event is the biggest international dance festival of the world. The festival covers the full range of dance and annually receives more than 300,000 visitors from all over the globe. The perfect moment to showcase our mutual strength.

Q: What can I expect when it comes to the musical programming?
A: The twelve leading labels and their pioneering artists, all get approximately one-hour to create an exclusive showcase. The labels will announce more information on what to expect very soon.

Q: Is HDE LIVE only accessible for professionals?
A: Absolutely not. HDE LIVE is accessible for everyone! During the most important weekend of the Dutch dance industry, all the harder styles lovers and party people are welcome to celebrate what Holland does best.

Q: What is the connection between HDE LIVE, the HDE conference and the showcase at the Melkweg in Amsterdam?
A: Similar to the conference and the showcase, we cooperate with the biggest organizers in the scene to keep the visitors up-to-date. The Melkweg is mostly for people who’re working in the scene. At the HMH, we give all the party people the opportunity to experience the latest of the harder styles in just one night. Of course you can expect a thrilling show and a banging sound design.

All the organizers and labels can’t wait to show you what they’re up to. The complete line-up will be announced on Friday the 29th of August.
